Healthzilla and Kiukas Consulting advocate Healthy Habits

Holistic wellbeing is so much more than hitting the yoga studio five times a week or sipping a kale smoothie every morning. It’s a beautiful mix of physical health, social relations, mental wellbeing, and emotional capability. A key ingredient to your overall performance is resilience – your capability to recover quickly from all the hurdles life throws your way, let it be physical or mental struggles.  

On February 5th, Healthzilla had the privilege of hosting 25 highly-driven business women for a resilience workshop with coach Anna Kiukas-Pedersen from Kiukas Consulting. The night saw lively conversations, self-reflection, and tons of questions about and around resilience – what is it, how to strengthen it, and what kind of impact does it have in the overall wellbeing and quality of life of the individual. 

The importance of healthy habits and routines came up multiple times during the session: proper sleep, regular exercise, healthy food, and regular mindfulness practise all have a major impact on our physical wellbeing and thus increase our resilience in tough situations. Add a bunch healthy social relationships, an emotionally safe environment, and some spirituality to the mix, and you’re on a speedboat towards destination stronger resilience!
