Access to healthcare is a fundamental human need. The rise of digital health technology from electronic medical records to personal health apps has created great improvements in how appointments are made, how information is shared and how medicines are dispensed. However, the human experience of healthcare for patients and clinicians alike has further room for improvement.
With large tech companies like Apple and Amazon moving aggressively into the health space and patients becoming more aware of their role in their own healthcare; how does the intersection of health, design and technology benefit patients and clinicians?
